More Practice-Oriented than a Conventional Integrated Law Degree
Practitioner-led teaching, moots, mentorship and a six-month law-firm attachment are built into the degree itself.
School of Law

Who will practise law with genuine commercial and regulatory fluency, not just doctrine?
How do we form lawyers who are more professional and practice-oriented, from day one, than a conventional integrated law degree allows?
The BBA LL.B. (Hons.) General Law is the flagship programme of the WPU GŌA School of Law: a five-year, co-educational, integrated degree combining legal foundations, business and commercial law, corporate and regulatory depth, dispute resolution, professional skills and a measured technology layer.
As one of WPU GŌA’s transdisciplinary, technological and transformative programmes, it builds AI, LegalTech and FinTech in as differentiators, while durable legal doctrine and professional skill remain at its core.
A five-year integrated programme organised around six curriculum blocks:
General Law is the single flagship curriculum, with corporate and regulatory depth as its point of difference from a conventional integrated law degree.
Practitioner-led teaching, moots, mentorship and a six-month law-firm attachment are built into the degree itself.
A recurring feature of the curriculum, not an occasional guest lecture.
Progressive moots, drafting, advocacy and client-counselling practice embedded across three years, not a one-off competition.
Structured mentorship from Year 4 through graduation.
A substantial, near-professional placement built into the degree structure, paid where secured.
Corporate, commercial, tax, competition, insolvency, labour and IP law alongside constitutional law, jurisprudence, contracts, torts, criminal and property law: a genuine BBA and LL.B. integration.
AI, LegalTech and FinTech are built into the curriculum, while durable doctrine and professional skill lead.
Career pathways are built around India’s major legal markets: Mumbai, Pune, Bengaluru, Delhi-NCR and Hyderabad.
Every WPU GŌA student lives and learns on a campus built for human performance, with movement-friendly design, baseline health screening and annual performance monitoring woven into residential life.
Universal requirement for all WPU GŌA students, developing ten essential graduate attributes and transversal skills across disciplines.
General Law is the programme’s single, defined curriculum.
A weekly lawyer lecture, Moot Courts in Years 2–4, and Industry Readiness Mentorship in Years 4–5.
A six-month final-semester law-firm attachment, paid where secured, together with a legal-literacy and access-to-justice capstone brief.
