Prof. Aditya D. Mohite is a Professor in the Departments of Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering and Materials Science & NanoEngineering at Rice University, Houston, and Director of REINVENTS (Rice Engineering INitiatiVe for ENergy Transition and Sustainability). He earned his B.S. and M.S. in physics and solid-state physics from Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, India, and his PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of Louisville, before serving as a Staff Scientist at Los Alamos National Laboratory. His research focuses on understanding structure-function properties in materials to control charge and energy transport across interfaces, with applications in next-generation photovoltaics, photocatalysis, and decarbonisation technologies. He has published over 180 peer-reviewed papers in journals including Science, Nature, and Nature Materials, garnering over 25,000 citations, and has been named to the Clarivate Highly Cited Researchers list five consecutive years from 2019 to 2023.
