WPU GŌA has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Makers Asylum Foundation that opens new avenues of learning in the fields of innovation, entrepreneurship, design and maker-led education.
The collaboration brings together WPU GŌA’s academic ecosystem and Makers Asylum’s hands-on maker culture to help students move beyond classroom learning and engage with real-world problem-solving. This association will enable students and faculty to explore workshops, programmes, events, mentoring, guest sessions and knowledge-sharing initiatives that promote experimentation, creativity and practical application.
The partnership will also enable academic exchange and unlock opportunities for collaborative programs, grants, fellowships, and institutional partnerships through government, philanthropies, corporate and other sources. The MoU seeks to build access to such opportunities to strengthen the link between ideas, skills, and meaningful impact.
The collaboration gives students a chance to learn by doing, build with purpose, work across disciplines and develop an entrepreneurial mindset. It also reflects WPU GŌA’s continued commitment to fostering an environment that encourages innovation, nurtures collaboration and empowers young learners to shape future solutions.
The MoU was signed on 30th June 2026 in Goa, another step to experience-led, future-ready learning at WPU GŌA and strengthening its focus on student outcomes and innovation-led education.
